The perception audit
How the market describes you, in its own words.
Established businesses are often described as they were, not as they are. Capability has grown, the team has changed, and the reputation that built the business is still doing the talking. The Perception Audit measures that gap by comparing how you describe the business with how clients, referrers and your own people actually speak about it.
(01 — PROCESS)
You begin by answering six questions about the business. Those answers are sealed until the end.
We then put a short set of questions to three groups: five clients, three people who refer work to you, and your leadership team. The questions are built to capture language rather than scores, so what comes back is the vocabulary people reach for when you're not in the room.
The responses are analysed for patterns and mapped against your sealed answers.
(02 — OUTCOME)
A single session in which we walk through the findings together.
You see the market's words beside your own. How referrers introduce you when you're not there. The work clients don't think to send you. Where people place you on price, and why. Each of these is set against what you wrote at the start, so the gaps are visible rather than argued.
You leave with a written summary: the language the market uses, where it diverges from yours, and which of those gaps is costing you the most. Enough to act on, whether or not we work together again.
Sometimes the audit confirms that you're well understood and that the gap is narrow. We'll say so. More often, it shows a business being sold short by its own reputation, and that becomes the starting point for a conversation about repositioning.
(03 — INVESTMENT)
Three weeks from start to session. Around two hours of your time.

Payment on booking, work begins on receipt.
Timing assumes responses arrive within two weeks of the questions going out. If they're slower, the session moves with them. You introduce us to each respondent, and we take it from there. Individual answers are never attributed to the person who gave them.
